Let’s talk about splits! Please join us this Wednesday, June 8th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the First United Methodist Church on 1 Gilligan Rd, East Greenbush NY.
We’re looking to share the different types of methods of making splits, increasing your apiary or recouping your winter losses. Perhaps you want to create small nucleus colonies ("nucs") to overwinter. We encourage everyone to share their methods. There are many ways to do this. We would like to know what works best for you!
As always, bring any questions about honeybees and beekeeping. Surely one of our members will have an answer or point you to a reliable resource.
CAB's monthly meetings are held at 7:00 pm on the second Wednesday of every month (except December). Check back each month for announcements and location (in-person, or, via Zoom).
